The cover of a traffic light fell off. For some reason I like this, even though it's quite dull. I took it in March last year, and it's a very flawed photo, but meh. Nothing special, but I like it.

New Years Eve on the roof Mt Macedon, watching the lighting roll across the sky. This isn't photoshopped at all, it was so dark, the clouds were so thick, and the lighting was moving further away, but I finally gota shot with it coming through the clouds.

I took this in New York, somewhere near the Brooklyn Bridge. Sadly I can't remember where exactly, but I loved the detail put into what could've been such a boring space. I wasn't happy with many of my photos from New York, but this one I really like. I can't wait to go back.

My beautiful nephew Callum, being wonderful. He has the most amazing eyes and smile and laugh and everything. My sister enjoys taking all the credit for his awesomeness.

Alice had to go to hospital for 5 days for brainmapping, where she had about a dozen wires glued to her head the whole time, while the doctors pushed her brain to the limit with sleep deprevation and stress. Bloody horrible experience, but at least the wires looked cool.

So I went to New York. Had the time of my life. Then took 6 months to get around to posting any photos. Unfortunately I'm not really happy with many of them, but I love this one, so it announces my return to toraks_shutter!

As usual, don't hold me to posting every day, but still! Photos! This is what happens when I'm home sick.

Much love to you all!

Yes, you all knew I was a dork. Yes, I have a rather large model of the Millennium Falcon on my desk, and yes it has little missile thingies that you can shoot. And no, it is definitely NOT a piece of junk. One day the light looked really pretty and weird through all the smoke and rain at Willowmount, and as usual I played around with depth of field. You like? I'm kinda pleased.

This here is my friend Mitch, our local comic book dealer and all round legend. I took this in extremely low light, so I'm just proud he's staying still. Also, I love his eyes

So good you could just eat it. I did. It was damn good. The most delicious photo I've ever taken. and I know I take the same photo over and over again but I really really love exploring a small depth of field.
